The Busking Folks surgen en Madrid en el año 2012, pero podrían haberlo hecho en Nueva York o Manchester, dos ciudades que resumen las personalidades de los creadores de The Busking Folks, Sergio Gil y Fernando Astone.

Influenciados por el soul, los grupos clásicos de los 60 y 70, el rock americano, el brit pop y los grandes tándems de compositores, pasan el 2013 compartiendo escenarios con grupos nacionales e internacionales.
Es a mediados de 2014 cuando entran en el estudio para grabar "One Step Further", seis canciones que suponen paralelos y coordenadas sonoras entre ambos lados del Atlántico.

"One Step Further” fue grabado y mezclado en Groove Art studios (Madrid) y masterizado en Mastering Mansion (Madrid). El mini LP de debut de The Busking Folks verá la luz el 1 de febrero de 2015 y fue producido por Fernando Astone.

"One Step Further" y todas las canciones del mini LP, fueron compuestas por Sergio Gil y Fernando Astone.

this new project has two masterminds behind, Sergio Gil and Fernando Astone, two guys with a passion for soul, classic 60's pop, American rock and brit pop.
